The Restaurant @ Clos Malverne is open after a well-deserved holiday.  The old favourite dishes are making room for an all new gastronomic cast brimming with vivacious taste combinations and refreshing textures.  Prawn and salmon fish cake, duck liver parfait, springbok loin and smoked dark chocolate panna cotta – to name only a few of the dishes on our new winter menu. Clos Malverne has just released 2 new vintages of our flagship red blends.  We are the first winery to ever receive a 5 star John Platter rating for a Cape blend.

Auret 2016 – the blend of outstanding qualities – Cabernet Sauvignon 51%, Pinotage 35% and Merlot 13%. A unique, full-bodied red blend.  Pleasantly dry tannins, spicy with underlying fruit (ripe berries).

Spirit of Malverne 2015 – Pinotage 35%, Cabernet Sauvignon 29%, Malbec 18% and Shiraz 18%.  Blueberry flavours come through, along with a spiciness from the Shiraz and it’s all built on a bed of noticeable oak flavour.  A selection of only 4 barrels!
