Yummy Summer Treats to beat the Heat!


Need to cool down this summer? These easy icy treats are the perfect snack for a sunny day.

Dairy-Free Cherry Almond Ice Pop:
1. 1 small seedless watermelon, chopped (about 5 cups)
2. 1/3cup sugar
3. 1/3cup fresh lime juice
4. 2teaspoons grated fresh ginger
5. pinch fine salt


Watermelon, Lime, Ginger Pops:
1. 2cups pitted cherries (fresh or frozen)
2. 2 1/2cups almond milk
3. 1/4cup sugar
4. 2tablespoons fresh lemon juice
5. 1/4teaspoon almond extract
6. pinch fine salt


1.Puree the ingredients in a blender until smooth.
2.Pour the mixture into 10 3-ounce or 8 4-ounce ice-pop molds, dividing evenly. Insert ice-pop sticks and freeze until firm, at least 4 hours and up to 4 days
